Guardian Watchmen Manager: Cory Frank

Hello my name is Cory Frank. I am a member of the K’ómoks First Nation. I am the leader of the Guardian Watchmen Department for our Nation.

Being born and raised in the K’ómoks village life as a youth was very pleasant. We had all the things around us to shape the person I have become today. The outdoors, hunting fishing and gathering berries and shellfish are the mainstays in my life. Like many things in our culture it is a big circle with the seasons of when and how we do things.

I have two wonderful children of my own (Amber and Hunter), my beautiful wife Kelly and her two children Jordan and Taylor. Together we have built a beautiful life together here in our traditional homelands.

My goals for the future are to make our Guardian Department a staple in our core territories. The goal is to develop our group to where our roles are essential in each area. All while teaching the same goals and values to my children and the other youth of our village.

Preserving our culture and everything that goes along with it are in the forefront for me and I would like to help preserve and teach these to any of membership who would be willing to learn.
